WHO CAN ATTEND?
We welcome all children interested in attending our camps – friends from the community, future students, anyone interested in sports – all are welcome. No prior experience is needed. Learn new skills and make new friends!
WHY CHOOSE COYOTE CAMPS?
Coyote Summer Sports Camps offer excellent, affordable instruction, with opportunities to learn fundamentals and time to practice them. Our camp directors are ALA teachers and coaches who are experienced in working with children of all ages.
For the first time since 2017, we are also hosting a Play-Well TEKnologies LEGO® camp on the ALA campus. Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from Play-Well’s specially trained instructors. They dive into Play-Well’s massive collections of LEGO® parts. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.
WHERE ARE THE CAMPS?
ALA is located on 27th Avenue, just south of Southern Avenue in the Laveen/South Mountain area of Phoenix, Arizona.
- Baseball/Softball takes place out on the baseball field near the southwest side of the football field.
- All other sports camps take place in the ALA gymnasium.
- The LEGO® camp will take place in an ALA classroom. ALA staff and signage will be ready to lead you to the LEGOs®!
