Student Life at ALA
Beyond academics, athletics and fine arts, ALA has a culture known for connecting and involving students in a wide variety of programs and extracurriculars.
Every student has unique interests, abilities, and gifts. ALA encourages all its students to explore, grow, and thrive by getting involved in activities outside the classroom. Students at ALA are often a part of multiple programs. Many of our student athletes are tri-sport athletes, active in all three athletic seasons of the school year. It’s even common for students to be active in a variety of athletics, fine arts and leadership groups. Students who love fine arts can be part of all ALA offers: choirs, band, art classes, and drama.
Student Leadership, Clubs, and Activities
ALA’s student leadership organizations allow students to develop leadership skills and grow into responsible young citizens of our community. ALA’s clubs are a place to nurture interests that can develop into life-long passions.
High school is certainly a place to try new things, and students at ALA do just that!
STUDENT GOVERNMENT
At Arizona Lutheran Academy, student leadership is a foundational piece of our school’s culture. ALA offers a variety of leadership & growth opportunities, including Student Government. Elected class officers and student council members gain organizational, marketing, and communication skills as they plan and implement social events, fun class competitions, and donation drives for charity. | Staff contact: Adam Wiechmann

ATHLETICS SUPPORT
Sports Managers: Coaches utilize managers to keep the team organized at home and on the road.
Event Staff: There are numerous volunteers needed at home events to run the clock, line judge, run the gate, and more. Volunteering is a great way to support ALA and meet classmates, too.
