MONTE YAZZIE

2023-03-01T13:16:57-07:00

Congratulations to Monte Yazzie (ALA 2000) who was awarded the 2022 Rick Smith Injury Prevention Award by Indian Health Service. From 2016-2020, unintentional injuries were the third leading cause of death for all ages. This issue is even more impactful among the Arizona (AZ) American Indian / Alaskan Native (AI/AN) population where unintentional injuries are leading cause of death for all ages. Mr. Monte Yazzie recognized this unacceptable disparity and decided to take action with a three prong solution. Read more.   Alumni —we want to hear from you! Share your latest news here.

Second, your gift will also assist with new gym lights used for concerts and drama productions. We have other campus [...]
